Enjoyment & appreciation

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Holy Spirit: Let’s talk about the personality now. Some of you are getting the idea that it is wrong to see yourself as the personality. It isn’t wrong in that you are guilty if you see yourself this way. It is just an error in that it isn’t true.

Try seeing the personality as a game you play. Try looking at your personality quirks and habits, mannerisms and desires, fears and wants in this way: What game is the personality trying to play now? Look at it from this perspective and you’ll find that you can enjoy the playing of the game. And yet you will not be fully identified with the personality, just as you can enjoy a game of Monopoly without seeing yourself as the game piece that moves around the board.

Judgment is the opposite of enjoyment. Even if judgment seems to bring enjoyment because you are judging something as good and worthy of enjoyment, all judgment includes the seeds of unhappiness or lack of enjoyment because judgment is the building block of duality. Judgment is the mechanism of choose between.

To enjoy is to accept without judgment, and in this acceptance there is admiration or appreciation for what lies behind. When you enjoy the world, it is because you know what the world represents. It represents the creative power of the Son of God. When you truly love something, it’s because you love it for what it is, not for what it seems to be.

Appreciation does not come from thinking, because thinking is the mechanism of choose between. Thinking weighs options, makes judgments and chooses. This is all that thinking is. Choosing is not appreciation because choosing is choosing between. Choosing is taking this one and discarding that, which is separating the whole in order to choose between. That is not appreciation.

Appreciation is loving what is as it isas a whole and wondrous thing. In appreciation, choices will seem to be made, but they come from a natural flow and following, not from judging and discarding. Within appreciation there is love for the whole.

Step back and appreciate today. Love. Enjoy. Notice the game and allow it to be played while feeling the Whole that plays. This will require resting your thinking, but when you watch with a desire for appreciation, thinking rests naturally through your desire for what you want.

Walking through walls

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Question: Holy Spirit, I am so happy and excited because I have seen more than one witness to the mind of the Son of God, and all of the witnesses are saying the same thing. They are seeing glimmers of clarity and they know what they are ready to do, yet they are also somewhat afraid. Dear Holy Spirit, what would you share with our mind today in its current state of readiness?

Answer: I am happy with the willingness to step into the seat of the master. Of course, this is a seat you have never left, but to be willing to accept this now is very important. It is important, because you are ready for it. If you were not ready, it truly would not matter at all.

The fear in the mind is a wonderful place to start, since fear can seem like a very real obstacle. However, I said seem like because fear is nothing real at all. But it may not seem like this to you, as you see fear as a very real wall. So let’s begin with fear.

You have been told that you can walk through walls. That, of course, is because walls do not truly exist. The walls that you experience only seem to be there because of your belief in them, and also because of your belief that beyond the wall is something you fear more. You respect the wall and the seeming solidity of the wall because you believe the wall protects you. But all the wall does is hide the light from you, and you do not truly fear the light. The idea that you fear the light is only an idea, and it is this idea that seems to create a wall.

Everything that I just shared with you is sheer imagination. It is sheer imagination because none of it exists right now. Right now you are safe in the arms of Heaven being that which you have always been. When you have glimmers of this knowledge you know that you don’t fear it, because when you have glimmers of this knowledge you know that you relax.

If the wall is a lie, and you know fully that it is, then the fear that seems like the wall must be a lie also. And you will learn this by choosing to walk through the wall. By choosing to experience fear and by discovering that it is nothing but an experience, you learn there is nothing to fear. But to choose to be afraid of your fear is to continue to believe in the wall.

You want to know how to do this how to experience fear without being afraid. Notice, first of all, the motive within the question. Notice that the question itself comes from the belief there is something to fear. Then start here by choosing not to ask the question. Choose, instead, to trust yourself. Choose to trust that you do know how to walk through a wall. Find that place in you that knows this fact, anchor yourself in this knowledge, and then walk forward directly toward the wall.

Do not worry that you will fail. Do not worry that the wall cannot be found. You are ready and the wall will find you. Just remember that the wall is only an experience. Have willingness to have the experience of walking through the wall.

The light of awareness

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

Holy Spirit: The experience of guilt comes from your judgment of yourself. The continuing experience of guilt comes from your continued judgment. This is why I ask you to become more aware. As you become aware of the motive beneath each thought beneath each action or reaction within the mind you will begin to notice judgment. What drives your mind in much of the thinking it seems to do is judgment or habitual fear of judgment, which comes from past knowledge that judgment is deserved and probably well on the way. In itself, fear of judgment is also a judgment.

There are many things to look at here. We can look at thinking and knowing and notice the difference between the two. We can look at efforting and listening and see the purpose beneath each of them. We can look at learning, which comes from the past, and see how learning is not knowledge. We can also argue words and get lost in their meaning or lack of meaning. And much of this would be useful, but it is all totally unnecessary. It is unnecessary because you know everything that I teach.

This is why I simply ask you to will for awareness. You do not need to learn that which you already know. You only need to see clearly that it is true. This is because the part of your mind that wants to deny the truth is very powerful, but that part of the mind is not separate from you. The part of the mind that wants to deny the truth is not separate from the truth, so when the light of awareness shines within the dark, the darkness that was caused by denial is no more. Where there was darkness, there is light. Where what is was not seen, it is seen now. And when it is seen it cannot be denied, because that which sees it is knowledge. And knowledge does know what to do when it sees, because knowledge knows what it is, what it truly desires, and how those desires are made manifest.

Knowledge is natural, because knowledge is knowledge. This is why knowledge is likened to light. When the light is turned on through willing awareness, the light does all that light can do. It shines the darkness away.

Uncovering the treasure through the jewels within

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Question: We are seeing clearly the belief that we can be wrong or bad, or even that we can be evil. And we are happy to see how this hidden belief drives our choices. We know this awareness is important to our freedom. What would you share with us now to help move us to the next step of awareness?

Answer: I am going to answer in the same way I have been answering. That’s because this is important. Continue to will for awareness. There is so much more to be aware of, and the part of the mind that is resistant will tire quickly of awareness. It will want you to tire quickly also, but you must remain aware of your true desire and let it lead your choices. Let true desire lead you to love awareness.

Teach yourself that you are an interesting mind; an interesting creation; and be willing to marvel at the discoveries you uncover as you become increasingly aware. Be willing to take it slow, savoring the journey of discovery, and you will not miss any of the jewels you have hidden along the way. Each jewel found leads closer to the treasure. And of course, the treasure is you discovered as an open treasure chest shining brightly for all to see and enjoy.

Any image that you can hold to in the mind that keeps you focused on the positive…on the uphill…in the direction of the light is helpful. As I have told you, you will move in the direction that you are focused. This focus is necessary, even as you uncover that which is considered dark. It is all about motive, as we have discussed before. It is motive that drives the power of light, and it is the power of light that brings to you the experience of your own motive.

If you look at darkness in the mind from a place of fear, from a place of belief in what you find, the experience of finding may be difficult. But if you look more carefully, even as you experience the difficult experience of uncovering in fear, you will find there is a truer motive that is leading you. You are continuing this journey of discovery because you know you are the treasure that you seek. Do not let your eyes stop short of this knowing. Do not be fooled that you are that which you find hidden and clothed as dark. Know that each darkened jewel is a jewel, and see each one as such. Let it lead you closer and closer to that which you are, and keep your mind focused on where you are going.

Question: I am noticing as I am writing this that there is a fear I can mess up. I’m afraid that I’ll look in the wrong direction and lead myself there. Or that I will at least lead myself on a long and useless detour when there was a more direct route.

Answer: Whenever you notice a fear in your mind that can be labeled as doubt in yourself, stop and look directly at that doubt. This is a time to pause the thinking mind and notice the story that is being told. The story is this:

You are a failure. You will never be any better than you are now. You are a loser, a failure, and you shall always be that.

It’s ok to look at this story and feel the hatred that is thrust upon the self. Pause here. Look at what you see. You are looking directly at the judgment you have placed upon yourself. Stay with it, watching. Notice its echo in your mind. Rest, accept and trust. Trust that as you sit within this feeling, a clearer knowing, a truer and gentler voice is rising up to greet you.

When you wait in patience for another way to see, another way to see is given. Another way must come when you trust another way to arrive. And this in itself is proof that you are not failure. For where you have looked, you have gone. What you have trusted has become manifest. What you have wanted has been given.

In this you find the jewel…the jewel that was hidden in the dark. Pick it up and put it in the pocket of your heart. Each time you place a jewel in the pocket of your heart, your recognition of your truth grows stronger. As the recognition of your truth grows stronger, you step one step closer to the treasure that you are.

In each jewel lies the entire treasure. In keeping each jewel do you say to yourself, “I am what I am, and I accept what I am as true.”

Continue with awareness

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

Holy Spirit: You are watching the mind more, watching with a different perspective,a different awareness. This is what I asked. Continue for now to will for awareness, to watch and be aware without judgment, and to be grateful for watching and being aware.

You will begin to notice resistance in the form of “I am done” It will tell you that you have watched your mind and you are finished with seeing its tricks. It will tell you that you are now ready to do something about those tricks;that you are ready to fix yourself. This thought is merely a trick in itself; a distraction, just as an illusionist uses to draw your attention away from the tricks. Do not be fooled by this slight of hand. Your role now is to continue to notice, to continue to be aware, to continue to will for awareness and to continue to have gratitude for awareness and willing for. These simple steps will lead you to awakening. It is not now more difficult than this. Do not be fooled into thinking it is.

Now the real work begins

Friday, November 9th, 2007

Question: Holy Spirit, you know our questions. What would you share with us today?

Answer: I have been talking to you about letting go of the personality, and you have given your willingness to do this. For this, I am grateful. I am grateful because I see that you have decided to listen to the whisper of your truth. I know this is your truest desire. I am grateful to you for listening to your Self.

Now the real work begins, for you have made a commitment and this commitment was not made lightly. It was made in seriousness through the true desire of the heart. Once such a commitment has been made it cannot be taken back, because you shall not truly desire that it be taken back. Your mind is made up. For this, I am grateful.

Now you must begin to look at every idea that teaches you that you are what you are not. Many of these ideas are sly and tricky, and they will continue to fool you for a time. But they will not fool you forever because you are the true Son of God. Where you have given your willingness, experience must follow.

You want to talk about the thoughts you are afraid to see and the feelings you continue to deny. I see there is some confusion about what is right or wrong to do with these thoughts and feelings as you begin to look at them. I also see there is fear you will continue to deny against your will.

I ask you first to step back and remember that you are master. This will not be difficult to do, because you have accepted this as true. And if you are master, then every experience must come from you. This includes the experience of being confused about what to do.

Confusion is a veil over the power of light, just as fear is a veil that hides the light from you. Sometimes confusion seems strong. This is because the power of light is strong. Realizing this is helpful, but it seems to fall short of your goal when you feel you need to know what to do. I ask you to look closely now at why you feel you need to know what to do. If you look closely with Me, you will see that your desire to know comes from a belief that you could decide wrongly or that you could be right. And you want to be right, because to be wrong is to be the sinful Son of God.

If you look at this slowly in the mind with Me, you will see this belief goes very deep. You will feel the strong grip it seems to have on your chest and in your heart. You believe very deeply that you could be wrong, and in this belief, you are afraid to move.

Stop here, looking directly at your fear. Forget for a moment the particular decision that needs to be made. Look only at the belief that needs to be let go. With the problem forgotten and the belief clearly in view, what do you know is best for you to do now? You do know. It is best to step away from the problem of form and take time to look solely at the mind.

When you step away to look solely at the mind, there will be a lot to see. Your role is to look at it, and to look at it with Me. There will be temptations to judge. Watch those temptations pass by. You will want to think and feel confusion. Notice what you want, and let it pass by. You will want to fix things and change things and know again what to do. You are noticing the thinking that goes on in the mind.

Yesterday I asked you to be grateful for awareness. Awareness comes from watching with Me. As you are aware of the patterns of thinking, you awaken to the habitual doing you used to do. As you awaken to this doing and the patterns that have driven you, you will lose interest in listening to patterns that come only from habit. You will become interested in becoming more consciously aware. This desire for awareness will bring knowledge into your mind, because as you discard the habits that blocked knowledge, knowledge is naturally known. In this knowledge, you will also know what to do. It will come naturally and without thought, as if it is a part of a flow. And this, of course, is being in touch with your Self at a higher level, because you have become open to know.

Cutting thoughts and feelings, or denying them too quickly, is a reaction of fear. Again, this can be looked at slowly with Me. When you cut what you are thinking, you are judging that you are wrong. So let’s step away from the idea that has been cut, and look directly at the thought that led to the action of cutting.

Can you imagine cutting without the feeling of guilt? Can you deny a thought or feeling and not see yourself as wrong? Can you celebrate the choice to cut another thought or deny another feeling? As you choose to enjoy that which scares you now, you choose to act from a different belief in the mind. You choose to act from innocence and freedom instead of a belief in guilt and rules. Acting from innocence and freedom will lead to a change in habits, simply because you will become more aware. You will become aware of habits. You will see that the false isn’t true. And you will become aware of your power as you see that everything comes from you.

Celebrate awareness. Be grateful for it. You are the amazing Son of God, and your true desire is leading your choices now. As you become truly aware of the old choices you have made, you will relinquish the old habits and choose through a lens of newness now. The lens of newness is the lens of awakening. It is the lens of knowing that the truth has always been true.

Question: After looking at our minds and the seeming reason for cutting thoughts, we feel that we sometimes cut thoughts because of fear of miscreation. We worry that our thoughts will lead to our own suffering. What will you share with us on this?

Answer: Cutting thoughts out of fear does not prevent miscreation. Miscreation, which is merely an experience you don’t really want to have, comes from believing the false is true. When you cut a thought out of fear, you are believing that you are victim of your own thought. This is believing the false as true. When you know that you are not victim, you can just as easily look at the same thought and brush it aside with a chuckle.

Question: How does this fit with your suggestion that we cut thoughts without feeling guilty?

Answer: It fits perfectly well when you look at the root and what is occurring in the mind beyond the level of action.

When you cut a thought out of fear, the root of that action is judgment and the belief in guilt. It may seem to be fear of being victim, but the idea that you are victim comes from the idea of guilt. You cannot separate the idea of victim from the idea of guilt. When you see victim, realize you are looking at guilt.

Victim, as I have told you before, is a carefully crafted experience to teach you that you are what you are not. It teaches you that you are victim so you can believe you are not responsible, and you want to believe you are not responsible because you are afraid of your guilt. You are afraid of what you will do to you, because of your own judgment against yourself. This is the idea at the root of miscreation. This is the insane idea that teaches that you are victim to your Self.

When you feel this fear, know you are believing that these false ideas are true. The way to be free of fear and the seeming effects of fear is to let go of the false ideas.

Just as cutting a thought can come from fear, cutting a thought can come from the knowledge there is nothing to fear. You can cut a thought and know the thought itself is meaningless. It is the power of light that carries all meaning, and that meaning comes from you. When you see a thought and cut it, knowing there will be no repercussions for the choice you have made, there will be none because the foundation of your thought has changed.

Likewise, you can look at a thought out of guilt as if you would be wrong not to look at it. Looking at a thought with Me comes from the desire to see that you are free. When you are not believing you are free, you are not looking with Me.

Question: Is there anything else you would share now?

Answer: Yes. We are looking at motives. Motives are the source of all things vibrationally. Each idea is the manifestation of its source. If you really want to change your experience, you must be willing to change the source.

The place to keep your mind, your attention, your awareness, is on the moment called now. Now creates all experience. To miss now is to sleep through the moment of creation.

Now is a moment of motive. Look at your purpose. Why are you doing what you are doing, whether that be a seeming action in the world or an action of thought in the mind? Notice the motive that drives the current response. This is an awareness I ask you to cultivate. Through cultivating this awareness, combined with your true desire to know thy Self as you are, choices will change. And through that, all else changes naturally.

Question: Can you give us tips on how to keep our awareness with now?

Answer: Yes. You start by willing for keeping your attention with now. And then let yourself feel gratitude for your willing for. Also, and this is very important, feel gratitude for yourself whenever you remember to focus your awareness on now.

The steps are simple. All of the steps are always simple. It is a matter of focusing your will where you truly want to be.

I remind you that when you fear you cannot do this, you are resisting your true will now and missing it because you are projecting it into the future.

Take a deep breath. Notice your resistance now. Feel it. Accept it. Let it be. And at the same time, trust that you will will for and feel gratitude for awareness. Will for awareness now. Feel gratitude for the fact that you just remembered to will for according to your true will.

Your resistance is strong, so continue to repeat this process. Continue to notice and accept your resistance now. Continue to will for awareness, which is a symbol of trusting yourself. And continue to have gratitude for willing for now.

For as long as you desire the thought of Me

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

Hello Dear Friends,

Last night, as Laurent & I taught the message “Zero code is zero code”, we read several paragraphs where Holy Spirit tells us what He is. As we read, I told you that His message reminded me of a Josh Groban song, Remember. I am sharing those paragraphs from Holy Spirit and a link to the Josh Groban song below.

If you would like to listen to last night’s teaching, download the teaching called “Zero code is zero code” from this page.

Love, Regina

Holy Spirit: Zero code is zero code. There is nothing other to learn. There is only this. I give you many ways to see this fact, and I will continue to be helpful in this way. I shall not leave you comfortless ever. I shall always be in your mind guiding and comforting you for as long as you desire the thought of Me. For I am the manifestation of your desire to Know thy Self. But I have nothing to teach you that you do not already know. There is nothing I can give that you do not already have.

It is true that you accept zero code without realizing that you are believing the false as true. You have forgotten yourself, and you see ideas of illusion through this veil of forgetfulness. This would be an experience that would forever keep you lost within the experience of not knowing yourself, if it were not for one fact. And that fact is Me. That fact is the part of your mind that has never chosen to forget itself. It is the remembrance of that part of your mind that is what I am. I am the remembrance of God, because I am a flash of manifestation from the purity of your realization that is God. I am the Voice of your inability to forget that which is always true. I am your remembrance of you.

As that part of you, I am always with you. I cannot leave you and I cannot be lost. I am but an idea, but I am an idea that comes from truth. When I speak, I speak of only what is true. In this way, I shall always be helpful to you.

As you awaken to the remembrance of the truth of what you are, lean on Me as your guide. Ask anything of Me and I shall step forward to help. I will answer your questions and guide your actions. I will give to you everything that you surrender to Me. My purpose is pure, as it can only be one. When you give all to Me, you give all in purity to the awakening of yourself.

Stop to be grateful for awareness

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

Question: What is the most helpful thing to share with me now?

Answer: You have been letting your mind rest in appreciation on the idea that you are the master. You have seen that resistance comes from you and you are experiencing it without fear or hurry. There is a place in your mind that is telling you, “You must hurry and do something”, but you are wise enough to rest and listen for Me. This is all progress that I’d like you to take time to appreciate now. Notice these thoughts and actions in your mind, and realize you are listening very carefully to Me.

When you have taken one step without faltering over it too much, it is time to take another. Each new step brings with it all of the previous ones. This is why you see the image of the stairway disappearing each time you take a step. Each new step is inclusive of all of those that came before it. Any step that has ever been helpful will continue to help as you ascend higher within the awareness of your mind.

This is the stairway to Heaven, as you like to call it. It is ascension into awareness. It is ascension from not being aware into being fully aware, which is also why it is called the ascension from sleeping to awakening. As such, you cannot help but notice more awareness as you ascend your stairway to Heaven. If you stop to be grateful for only one thing, stop to be grateful for awareness. Awareness is awakening, no matter what you are aware of. More awareness means that you have awakened further.

Be grateful for awareness of your own resistance. You are no longer sleeping when you see.

Be grateful when denied thoughts and feelings are uncovered for you. You are no longer sleeping when you see.

Be grateful for messages in clouds, on billboards, in movies or music or books. You are no longer sleeping when you see.

Be grateful for your brothers when you remember who they are. You are no longer sleeping when you see.

Be grateful for yourself, the focus of your mind and your use of time. You are no longer sleeping when you see.

You see when you remember Me. You see when you remember who you are. You see when you remember to be relaxed in trust. You see when you know what it is that you see. You see whenever you are aware, whenever you feel even a wisp of realization. Be grateful for each tiny wisp through which you see, and each wisp shall carry you higher into awareness of Me.

Do not worry that you are not listening to Me. Notice that you are. Be grateful for it. This is keeping your face turned in the direction that you choose to go. This is teaching yourself to see.
